A Year of Achievements

Growing Our ITS Team

We’re thrilled to share that our ITS team has grown by more than 11% since 2022, making us a powerful team of over 200 members! Our average employee tenure stands strong at eight years, reflecting our commitment to fostering a supportive and engaging work environment. We saw significant growth in our Development department, underscoring our dedication to innovation, continual improvement, and above all, client satisfaction.

Embracing Our Hybrid Work Culture

The shift to a hybrid work model has been a game-changer for us, as it supports a perfect balance between professional commitments and personal life for our team members. But we missed the energy of our Baltimore office and seeing all the ITS pups, so we introduced “ITS In-Office Work Weeks” this summer.

Our employees, divided into three groups, reunited for a week of in-person collaboration and camaraderie. Each week was packed with fun activities ranging from group lunches and outings to parking lot parties, creating a memorable experience for all.

Winning the #1 Top Workplace Award for the Second Consecutive Year!

We’re overjoyed that we were recognized as the #1 Top Workplace for midsize companies by The Baltimore Sun again this year. This back-to-back win, coupled with the prestigious Direction Award, is a testament to our team’s unwavering belief in our vision and direction. These two awards are particularly meaningful as they mark a 10-year streak of recognition as a Top Workplace. Empowering Through Education with the ITS L.A.B.S.

We embarked on an exciting journey with the launch of ITS L.A.B.S. (Learning and Assessment Broadcast Series). This innovative webinar series brought together industry experts for insightful discussions on a variety of assessment topics. Over the year, we hosted four enriching webinars featuring esteemed speakers from other leading industry organizations such as Pearson VUE, Microsoft, AWS, and Examity. 

Our webinars touched on various subjects, from the intricacies of exam security and the wonders of artificial intelligence to the benefits of continuous certification and the future of remote proctoring. The overwhelmingly positive feedback we received has fueled our enthusiasm to continue this enlightening series in 2024. A Year of Innovations and Collaborations

Shaping the Future of IT Assessments

We reached a new milestone by delivering over two million performance-based exams in the IT market. 

In March, we collaborated with Certiport to launch the Next Generation Live in the App testing view for Autodesk Certified User exams. This enhancement allows the exam and the application to open side by side, providing a streamlined exam experience by eliminating the need to toggle between the exam and the application taskbar. 

We also joined forces with Pearson VUE and Microsoft to introduce a powerful exam enhancement that allows testing programs to support secure access to specific online documentation during exams while restricting access to other resources. Launched for candidates undertaking role-based and specialty Microsoft Certification exams, this enhancement acknowledges the real-world need to access resources to solve complex problems.

Celebrating Our Award-Winning Continuous Certification Solution

We were honored with the Innovation Fast-Pitch Audience Choice Award at the 2023 ATP Innovations in Testing conference. Our revolutionary Continuous Certification solution, which transforms how professionals maintain their certifications, was recognized as the most innovative technology in the industry. This solution provides a flexible, personalized, and more meaningful path to recertification by delivering content in short, recurring exams over a period. It promotes ongoing certification, practice exams, and learning libraries to improve skills and knowledge. 

Elevating Remote Proctoring with ProctorNow™

In 2023, we proudly introduced ProctorNow™, our highly flexible remote proctoring solution that provides secure online exam delivery anytime, anywhere. This user-friendly platform, offering live proctoring, record and review, or a hybrid of both, successfully initiated over 150,000 tests last year. ProctorNow™ is equipped with advanced features like Proctor Assist, which uses AI to flag common security violations, Two Camera Support for increased security, and ITS’s Secure Browser, which restricts candidate access to only the test and approved digital resources. We’re excited to offer a remote proctoring solution that can be customized to meet the unique needs of any test program.

Enhancing Observational Exams

Our oral certifying exam platform gained significant enhancements. The user interface was redesigned for a cleaner visual experience, and new event management tools were introduced for easier setup and management of testing events. We expanded support for accessibility and accommodation, including extended time, use of third-party software like JAWS and ZoomText, and configurable candidate breaks. Our ITS Secure Browser was also continually updated for cutting-edge security, and the platform now supports more robust assessment experiences, allowing exams to mirror real-life experiences.
