Awarded Baltimore’s Top Midsize Workplace

Being voted Baltimore’s Top Workplace in the mid-size category was a huge accomplishment, and we’re so grateful to receive this recognition from our employees. We believe that our team is what makes our company great, and we’re committed to creating a positive and supportive work environment that allows our employees to thrive. We’re proud of the culture we’ve built and are honored to be recognized as a Baltimore Top Workplace for nine years in a row.

Delivered 25 Million Exams

We’re proud to have successfully delivered 25 million exams to individuals all around the world in 2022. This impressive milestone is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our team, as well as the commitment of our clients and partners to education, professional development, and lifelong learning. We understand the importance of these exams for both individuals and organizations, and we strive to provide a reliable, secure, and seamless testing experience for all our candidates.

Celebrated Our 25th Anniversary

Twenty-five seems to be a lucky number for us! ITS was formed in 1997 with the goal of providing the best technology and service to the computer-based testing industry. In July 2022, we celebrated 25 years in business with our 180 employees across the globe. 

As part of our anniversary, we redesigned our Baltimore office lobby. It now features a bright gallery wall of office dogs that were photographed by one of our team members.  

Product Enhancements

Continuous Certification

The ITS Continuous Certification Solution has had an exciting year as we’ve onboarded new clients and expanded our features list. Our team focused on enhancing the candidate experience by elevating the candidate dashboard that displays personal progress, performance, and peer comparison in real time. We added over 60 configurable data metrics that programs can use to provide candidates with a precise picture of their personal performance. We also improved our administrative tools, such as our email and text messaging services, a new rescore tool, and advanced reporting tools, to allow clients more freedom to manage aspects of their programs.   

We were honored when our partner, the American Board of Medical Specialties, won the 2022 Innovator Award from I.C.E. for its development of the CertLink® assessment platform. CertLink® leverages the ITS Continuous Certification technology.

Item Workshop

The ITS item bank, Item Workshop, has had a productive year! One of the most notable features added to Item Workshop is media groups. Media groups are collections of related media that help you organize media and link media to items. We also enhanced many existing features this year, including publishing, text-to-speech support, and advanced search, just to name a few.

Observational Assessment

The ITS Observational Assessment Solution, which delivers remote oral certifying exams, released an examiner practice environment. This new feature gives examiners a space to play before the event and launch a sample exam session at their convenience. This can significantly improve the assessment process, preparation, and examiner self-confidence.

Looking Forward

As we close out another year, we feel so grateful for all that we’ve achieved and all the support we’ve received along the way. We’re excited to see what the future holds and are already hard at work planning and preparing for the year ahead.
